Meet Verasseti

We are a web and software development company and much more.

Enquire

Verasseti was founded in 2002 on the premise that a software development company could be client focused, trustworthy and always deliver projects on time and to budget. We have always held true to this mission statement for every one of our clients.

Our success is due to our ability to make our clients’ business more efficient, more productive and more profitable through bespoke innovative software solutions.

Exclusively focused on our clients’ needs, we work with one person companies, startups, small and medium-sized progressive companies as well as large corporate IT organisations.

Based in London, we undertake work for both national and international clients.

A passionate team

We have a total commitment to our clients. Having successfully worked on many different kinds of software projects over many years, we have the experience to understand your business needs and the passion to help you realise your objectives. We understand because we listen to what you say and we can communicate

James Percy

James Percy

Managing Director

Since joining International Computers Limited (ICL) 25 years ago, James has headed up million pound IT projects in blue-chip companies such as Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham. These include Business Analysis, Project Management, Software Development and Strategy. His presentation skills are second to none and in this field, he has worked alongside such famous names as Peter Sissons and Douglas Adams.

His main focus for the past 17 years has been managing business change involving the use of IT. James is passionately opposed to the use of IT for IT’s sake and feels that too many companies implement solutions without a clear understanding of the expected benefits. James, therefore, encourages his clients to “…begin by thinking about what they want to achieve in business terms and how people could work in the most effective way possible”.

Daren Callow

Daren Callow

Project Manager

Daren has over 30 years’ experience in IT, working mostly in the areas of multimedia and web design, but also including IT support, project management, business analysis, and even the nitty-gritty of programming and graphic design. As well as experience for large corporate companies e.g. GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer he has also run his own web design company and worked as a freelance project manager.

Daren believes that his wide-ranging experience in terms of clients, companies and type of work, makes him highly skilled in understanding both sides of the business world: “I feel as though I can speak both IT and business and fluently translate between the two”. This enables him to work seamlessly alongside large and small organisations as well as in the backroom alongside technical staff. “I’ve been both the client and the provider, so I understand both sides of the coin better than most. It always helps when managing a technical project that I could sit at the computer and do the programming myself.”

We thrive on providing simple solutions to complex problems

We love solving complex problems. Slicing through the Gordian Knot is our speciality. Our satisfaction comes from clients who have achieved their aims by using technological solutions we have designed, developed and implemented exclusively for them. The best solutions are often the simple ones that other development companies overlook.

How does this help your company?

Our pledge is that we will find the best solution for your business model that is both cost-effective and efficient.

Frequent questions from clients:

What is your method of working?

We work with you in an agile way and welcome feedback. Any development we undertake is a joint enterprise between us. Your input is essential to the success of the development. We react quickly to requests and have the flexibility to evolve projects.

Who will I liaise with?

You will have one person who is your point of contact so that you don’t have the frustration of multiple conversations with different people on the same topic.

How will I know about progress and problems?

We are proactive. We will regularly update you on the progress of your project and let you know immediately about any problems we encounter in order to help with your own forward planning.

Who owns the Intellectual Property rights for the product?

All the Intellectual Property rights are yours. The code we develop for you can be used by any professional Microsoft developer.

How can I be sure the software you develop will meet my business needs and market expectations?

We know that your primary concern is fulfilling your company’s needs and commercial expectations. That is why, over the last 20 years, we have developed 18 different software packages each containing an application we have built before and perfected. These cover the whole range of business applications and have a proven record of success.

Can you work with our IT department?

We are very happy to build the ideal solution and liaise closely with your IT department. This ensures that the department can see that the build conforms to its own standards and keeps everyone as involved as they wish to be.

You will have access to sensitive information held by our company, how can we be sure it will remain confidential?

We take our responsibilities in security and confidentiality very seriously. For this reason, we have achieved certification to ISO 27001, which is the international standard that provides the specification for best-practice information security management systems (ISMS), and includes procedures for all legal, physical and technical controls in an organisation’s information risk management process.

Championing long-term relationships

We believe strongly in building long-term relationships with clients in an atmosphere of mutual trust. We value the trust you place in us to develop a bespoke solution to automate your business processes and improve efficiency. We can also take responsibility for the support for an existing system, learn its strengths and weaknesses, and identify the most appropriate support service. It is important that we get to know our clients and understand their aspirations. With this knowledge we can be open and frank with clients about their choices, and about the decisions which need to be made in producing the software necessary to achieve those aspirations.

A software development company you can trust

  • We pride ourselves on our honesty.
  • We do not waste clients’ money by taking on projects which we know have no chance of achieving a successful outcome.
  • We are completely professional and always provide impartial advice and expertise for the benefit of our clients.
  • When developing a software system we are transparent about how our development is progressing, and any complications that may arise, so that these can be discussed openly with the client.
  • We are scrupulous about doing what we say we will do and providing the necessary deliverables when they are due. This is all part of maintaining trust and teamwork with our clients.
